Charter school closures are a reality of the accountability exchange under which the board and authorizer operate.  When your board executed its charter contract with its authorizer, the board promised to perform to the standards and expectations outlined in that critical document.  If the school over which boards govern does not perform or is not performing, with fidelity, the school runs the risk of closing.  This session will focus on “how to” avoid charter school closure by providing helpful tips on assessing the overall health and condition of the school over which boards govern.
